In Loving memory of Momma's Baby March 25th 2007 2008 News Spacious Skies would like to thank each and every one of its supporters for all they have done in support of our mission. Without each of you our mission would certainly fail. Last year your generous support enabled us to pour the cement foundation for our 600 sq ft. aviary, build the walls and construct the aviary roof .Our goal is to enclose the aviary with large windows and screens and fan system and to provide natural trees and climbing/perching areas. Completing our goal will free up the current aviary for use as an additional cattery to house 15+ additional cats in need. Another goal this year is to close in an unused area aprox. 600 sq ft. by building in walls and windows for use as a nursery /sickroom in which to house recovering animals in need of quiet and rest and for use to safely administer medications. This area already has a cement foundation. Your generous support also enabled us to build 2 additional dog kennels. We would like to build an additional 8 as we currently have no kennels available for dogs.We are desperately in need of expansion so that we may continue to help the many animals in need. We welcome your support towards this goal. The estimated cost to complete this venture is aproximately $18,000.
